Hello, my question is, why do i wake up with a lot of mucus in the back of my throat in the morning. i have no lung problems and never suffered from asthma or have allergies. but when i wake up i always have to capuchin phlegm. thank you?

Postnasal drip: Among others appears as a common cause for increased/ accumulating secretions at night. Sometimes due to anatomic or functional sinus impairment combined with physical effects of AC/ heating on thickening secretions and impaired drainage. Start with an exam with your main doc.
