Hi. i have an allergy to dogs and lately when i get near them my throat goes all scratchy and sore. is this a symptom of pet allergies? i also suffer asthma symptoms near them and post nasal drip?

Probably yes: Sometimes a simple non-sedating antihistamine such as Allegra 24 hr tablet will prevent the symptoms. There are also pets which are nonallergenic. An allergist, immunologist, pulmonary doc or family doc can help.
