Maybe: Varicose veins are due to malfunctioning (refluxing) of the valves usually in the saphenous system of veins. This reflux leads to increased venous back pressure and varicose vein formation. Constricting garments can impede the venous return and increase the venous back pressure. However, this is something that would have to be done over long period of time not just hours or days.

See vein specialist: If you have varicose vein I suggest seeing a specialist and venous disease. You would have an ultrasound examination that would determine the real reason for your varicose veins. Most likely this would be treatable and correct the situation.
