Not in plants: Avocado does not contain cholesterol and thus will not raise levels. There is no cholesterol in fruits and vegetables. Enjoy!

NO chol, lowers it: Cholesterol is only found in animal foods (meat, dairy, eggs) so avocado has no cholesterol. Avocados are rich in monounsaturated oleic acid and phytosterols.
