A member asked:

Are there treatments for malabsorption syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Malabsorption: The answer is yes, depending on the cause of the malabsorption. If it is due to a ' short gut" post surgery it is more difficult to treat. If it is do to dietary or infectious causes, it can be treated. You should be seen by a gastroenterologist if this is a new onset especially.
