A member asked:

I just read about malabsorption syndrome and my symptoms match. im underweight, sometimes constipated, hair gets dry. 2 years ago, i did analysis about weight and had nothing. then gained weight by eating more. i just eat less now. is it malabsorpti?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No. If you gained weight by eating more food, you do not have malabsorption. If you are skinny, but otherwise healthy, do not overeat to increase your weight. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
