Weight loss: Methotrexate can lead to decreased appetite in 10 or more percent of people. However, as stated earlier weight loss would most likely occur if the person was having GI side effects like vomiting or diarrhea. Loss of appetite has been reported in 1% to 10% of people taking Hydroxychloroquine.
