Too complicated: It is too complicated to answer your question adequately in this forum. If you feel you're not getting adequate treatment from your physician, find a new one. Prednisone is obviously a drug to be avoided if possible particularly for bone mineral density reasons and many others. This incredibly complicated disease and drug regimen needs to be managed by someone you trust! I hope you feel better

Tell your doctor.: You may be tapering the prednisone too quickly. Call your doctor today because you shouldn't be this miserable. Also something else could be causing your pain.
