Does cervical disc herniation cause chest, arm and armpit pain?

It can: A cervical disc herniation in the lower cervical spine can cause compression to the nerve roots that provide sensation to the armpit, chest and arm.

Depends: There are specific cervical disc levels that cause radiating pain into particular regions, called dermatomes. Other causes can be heart disease. Would consider followup with your doctor, asap.

Pain Cervical Disc: Short answer is yes. Pain to all three regions can occur with a cervical disc herniation. Fortunately many people will see improvement of discomfort in 6-8 weeks. Otherwise therapy, steroid injections, or surgery may be required for continued pain.
