Not a lot of evidence: A poorly functioning gallbladder is never a very secure a diagnosis of gallbladder disease. If you have stones it is a much more secure diagnosis. So if the underlying diagnosis is really gastritis or a duodenal ulcer alcohol could certainly make it worse.
