Not necessarily: Do you have any open wound, infection, scratches, bites, puncture, suspicious mole etc on your hand area? If you do, the antecubital node swelling could be a reactive process towards the problem on hand. Swollen node can be caused by infection, inflammation, trauma, autoimmune, malignancy etc. If it becomes persistent more than 4-6 weeks-or growing or if u're worried-then see your md for eval.
