Extremely unlikely: It is extremely rare to be allergic to the lens material of modern intraocular lenses. Inflammatory precipitates which deposit on the lenses are usually secondary to other causes of inflammation and not the material itself.

Second opinion: It is very unusual to be allergic to the lens following cataract surgery. I would consider getting a second opinion to evaluate whatever symptoms you may be having.
