Vomiting after: Persistent coughing in little ones is nothing to worry about. This is the only way they know how to get rid of the mucus stuck in their throat and those mucus that have loosen up from their chest. They either vomit it up or swallow and pooped them out.You may offer warm liquids to help thin out the mucus. May need allergy meds to help postnasal drip & expectorant to help the mucus. Discuss w md.
