No: No. I don't think so. You would get problems if you don't take vit B12 replacement , however.

There really is not: Sufficient data to answer this question definitively, but in my experience, regular B12 administration normalizes counts and mitigates the neurological abnormalities. I can't think of a effect from pernicious anemia, in the context of appropriate treatment, that would shorten life span. Be vigilant about your care.
