Probably no: If you have pernicious anemia you do not absorb B12 effectively. That is easily fixed with either B12 injections or large B12 oral doses daily. Unfortunately, patients with B12 deficiency often have other associated autoimmune issues that develop. In general though, pa alone will not shorten life as long as you treat it correctly.
