I've had problems with low h&h (7.1 & 21%), i have to have 8 units of blood within a few weeks span. iron is fine. any ideas besides basic anemia?

Anemia: There are many causes for anemia. You need to have a workup by a hematologist. Transfusion may help with symptoms but will not treat underlying issue.
