1200 plus vitamins : Almost any adult can use a 1200 calorie diet plus a vitamin/mineral supplement to lose weight safely. Usually worth some baseline labs from your doctor to make sure your metabolism is ok (thyroid, iron, B12 for example). Generally focus on veggies, fruits, and proteins. Good luck.
