It depends: It is more than calories but a overall balance of carbohydrate, protein, and fat that can make the biggest long-term changes. Healthy oils and healthy fats need to stay. Cutting out simple sugars is always safe. Don't forget to get enough protein or you will lose muscle instead of fat. For best results, your diet and weight loss goals need a in depth assessment to correctly guide you.
