Not a good idea: For the most part, regular pain medication should not be taken for a pain of unknown cause as it could hide the reason for the pain. You should find out why you have the pain.

Pain killers: The best pain killer for the stomach pain is the one that relieves your pain. It can be over the counter medication like tylenol, (acetaminophen) or prescription medication. I would avoid nsaids as that it might cause stomach irritation.
