A member asked:

What does t wave inversion mean in lead iii and avf?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: In a vacuum, it's a non-specific finding. Isolated T inversion in III is common and normal but when combined with aVf, it can sometimes mean that the inferior wall of the heart isn't receiving adequate circulation. Further testing is indicated.
