Abnormal ECGS: T wave inversions are an abnormal electrical pattern on an ECG which can indicate a heart problem. Most serious would be an indication of ischemia, or lack of blood flow to a part of the heart muscle. This occurs when there are cholesterol blockages in the coronary arteries. Other less dangerous causes for these changes include high blood pressure, leaky valves and thickened heart muscle.

Compare w previous: While anterior t wave inversion can be a sign of ischemia (reduced blood supply) to heart tissue, it can also occur in young people as a result of persistence of a finding that is more commonly seen in juveniles (persistence of a juvinile pattern). This might be possible in a 30 yo. Previous ecg's might be helpful to see if this is a change from your baseline. Evaluation by your doc.
