What does it mean when a dr says cervical lymph nodes may be reactice?

Inflammed : Reactive lymph nodes are usually swollen and or tender from allergy or infection. After treatment for the primary cause of the reaction, the reactive lymph nodes resolve and the swelling and or tenderness resolves.
