Probably: I am careful when i prescribe Prozac (fluoxetine) for my patients, as it can be very strong, too strong for some. If you take too much, it can cause more anxiety. This is why, i never start someone on more than 10 mgs per day and then, i wait a month before i consider increasing the dose. Prozac (fluoxetine) lasts a very long time in one's system, dosage changes should be very gradual, start low, go slow.

Yes: Prozac (fluoxetine) raises serotonin levels in your brain, which helps with both depression and with anxiety/phobias.
