Prozac (fluoxetine) anxiety: Prozac (fluoxetine) is still one of the best drugs for depression. It is also a great choice for obsessive compulsive disorder and bulimia nervous. Although it is not indicated for anxiety it may help in an indirect way but I would not take it if your only diagnosis is anxiety. Now days many have multiple diagnosis so it may be part of you treatment plan but not the first choice. Off label can be for panic

MEDICATION: Best to discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM sessions. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
