Hives: Very common at her age, probably viral and no related to food if long lasting. Give her zyrtec (cetirizine) daily abd monitor. Should subside on their onw. See her doctor if the hives are worse.

Probably not: The cause of hives is usually not found. If they ever occur on her lips or she has trouble breathing she should go to the emergency room.

No: Food induced hives happen within minutes to no more than 12hours after the ingestion of the food. They generally will not last longer than 24 hours. Unless she is continuing to eat the offending food it is not likely associated. If they aren't itching her it is likely viral and will run its course without treatment. If she's itchy try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) if she has breathing problems go to the doctor.
