Packing tooth socket, when does it fall out?

Needs removal: I use tappe's paste with eugenol on a cotton ribbon. It must be removed.

Depends on the Pack: That depends on what was packed into the socket, and also how much was placed there. Some medications dissolve and disappear quickly. Some dissolve and disappear over a few weeks. Some don't dissolve at all and have to be removed by your dentist or oral surgeon. So, it's impossible to know how long it will take. However, the person who placed the packing can tell you for sure.
