See a doctor: Nonsurgical remedies and regular exercise are the initial mainstay. Medicines such as anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants and pain medications are very helpful. Additional measures include spinal injections. If all fails surgery may be an option. See an orthopedic spine surgeon for a treatment plan. If surgery is offered coonsider a second opinion as well.
