What to do if i have pain in my hip that moves down to my knee and into my ankle, what could this be?

Possibly sciatica: If you have shooting pain that radiates down your leg beginning in your back/hip it is more than likely sciatica which is a nerve irritation that causes shooting pain. I recommend you see your primary care doctor or a neurologist for examination
