Yes: The appendix and the right ovary are in the right lower portion of your abdomen. When women have symptoms in this area, it is often difficult to determine whether it is from the gyn tract (uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovary) or from the appendix. Ultrasound and ct scans help us try to differentiate the two.
