Hard to say: But ear problems rarely cause dental problems. Dental problems frequently cause ear pain. If you think you have both, suggest starting with a dentist.

Either Way Possible: You may have two completely independent issues going on. However, if they are related, it's sometimes difficult to tell which one came first. The only way to know for sure is to fix one of the problems and see if the other goes away. For example, if you have a tooth cavity, get that fixed, and see if your ear also feels better. However, most of the time, ear pain and tooth pain are not related.
