Ear and tooth pain: This might be a rotten tooth or an ear ache. Not a canker.

Usually not: A canker sore is a local viral infection and ususally is painful only at the specific site. Sometimes you can have several sores at one time and the pain can be more diffuse.

Yes to tooth: Canker sore can cause a tooth to hurt, but probably not both the tooth and the ear. If your canker sore healed and both the tooth pain and ear pain are gone, then you know they are related to your canker sore.

Unlikely but: Unlikely. Canker sore will resolve spontaneously soon. If you have persistent ear/tooth pain may be TMJ. If so, see an oral surgeon for diagnosis. If TMJ, ask for referral to TMJ expert.
