How good is bactroban (mupirocin) for acne?

Adjunct only: There are better topical antibiotics for which resistance is less of a problem. Never use an antibiotic as sole treatment for acne. If for some reason you cannot get a standard treatment from your physician, using this along with topical benzoyl peroxide for a time might be worth a try.
