Understand no forget: Memories are important, and usually when we try to make them go away, they just get sneaky and cause distress in other ways (nightmares, physical problems, etc.) better to work on understanding why the memory is upsetting, and deal with those feelings and the reasons for them. Talk about it with someone you trust and who will respect you and allow you to explore your feelings without judging you.

Memory: There is an old saying, " the only way to forget is to remember". Meaning as you work through what you troubled you from the past you then can finally be free of those memories and how they impact your life. Best.
