No other problem?: Well, if there have been no other cognitive losses and you are not having headaches, etc - i doubt that it did terrible brain damage. But retrograde amnesia is often a result of head injuries. Even without a head injury, some people have poor memory for childhood events without the aid of family stories and photos to build them on. Try not to worry about it. Best wishes.
