Ginseng: So if you're afraid of ginseng making your anxiety worse, why take a multivitamin that you know contains ginseng. Surely there are many other multivitamins that don't contain ginseng. Of course, you should also chat w/your doc about appropriate therapy for your anxiety, possible counseling or psychotherapy. There are other non-drug options available, too, especially exercise & adequate sleep.

Thanks for asking!: Pharmaton is a combination of g115 concentrated ginseng extract, vitamins and minerals. It is used for the relief of short periods of exhaustion caused by stress, tiredness and a feeling of weakness or lack of vitality. It is a special supplement which helps you to increase mental and physical well being. As stated is contraindicated in renal disorders, but I have never prescribed it in the past.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.
