The typical: Symptoms are continuous pain (varying degrees) sensitive to thermal stimuli (hot and cold); painful to pressure. Sometimes no pain but the presence of a "pimple" (fistulous tract - can be draining or not) on the gum in the vicinity of the infected tooth. Best to be diagnosed by a dentist for appropriate treatment. Hope this helps.
