Went to the dr for a discolored flat lump under my armpit. he said its possibly and inflammatory papillary gland. it has a hole in the center of it.

Mean cyst vs gland: Sounds like it may be an old sebaceous cyst with surrounding post-inflamatory hyperpigmentation. Either that or possible a sweat gland that had a bad day and your left with the sequela.

Sounds like: Inclusion cyst or folliculitis of skin, either case is not serious. If it gets infected, it might need excision.
