Mucosal cyst: The bump next to your uvula may represent a simple mucus retention cyst. This can happen after chronic irritation to the lining occurs. In many instances these resolve spontaneously. If it persists or enlarges, see an ENT doctor.

Salivary Gland: We have hundreds of tiny salivary glands thru out our mouths. Some times the duct from one of these gland gets blocked and the saliva backs up and forms a tiny, clear bubble. After a while the bubble pops and it goes away. When you eat you make more saliva so that's why it comes back. This is a variation of normal and not a problem. Eventually it should just go away on its own.
