Trichomonas?: Trichinosis is a roundworm infection you get form eating undercooked pork, so i'm going to guess you mean trichomonas? Trichomonas often shows up on a pap but wouldn't have to, pap isn't the right test for it. But, it also usually causes a smelly very itchy discharge, so i doubt you could have had it for 3 years.

Wrong disease: Yes. Trichinosis (trichinella)is usually caused by eating under cooked pork. Trichomoniasis is an std that may show up on a pap but usually is seen on a slide of the vaginal discharge or in a culture.
