Weak ligaments: If your ankle is giving out alot, you need to strengthen it. Making the full alphabet with your ankles, trying to stand on one leg and then hopping as you become stronger are all great exercises for the ankles. Wearing an ankle support, icing after activity are key and shoes with ankle support. If these donot help, you need to see your physician.
