Constipation can : Occur without the familial adenomatosis. If you feel you are at risk for fap, you need to see a GI or colon and rectal surgeon and get a colonoscopy. Only then can your constipation be addressed properly.

Familial polyposis : Patients are usually asymptomatic but can present with diarrhoea, rectal bleeding abdominal pain , mucous discharge through anus . Constipation can occur but usually at stage where obstruction has occurred . http://patient.info/doctor/bowel-colonic-polyps-pro
