Neck pain: Neck pain after a dental procedure could be due to positioning of your head during the procedure or afterwards. Changes in your biting/jaw could possibly cause neck pain. Also, infections could possibly do the same.

Hard to say: Sometimes people with a previous neck issue develop pain from having their head back in the dental chair with their mouth wide open which can both place a strain on the neck.
