A member asked:

Lymphocytes reading 45.5%, what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Take the total WBC and multiply by .455 and this will give the absolute number of lymphocytes. If the total number is higher then the upper limit then it it called lymphocytosis. There are many reasons for this condition. Speak with your physician to determine if this has been seen in you in the past or it something new. If needed a hematology consult may be beneficial.
