A member asked:

Is it serious to have numbness in right thumb?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Have it looked at.: Numbness in the hands is most likely due to nerve irritation or damage. The unknown is where is this occurring. A physician can evaluate you and help figure this out. If nerve damage from compression is prolonged, recovery may not be complete when finally treated.
