Probably not: Nasal anatomy is very complex so whether the bump is abnormal is unclear. A raise swelling on the inner nostril near the hairs is the most common complaint and is usually a bacterial infection that can improve with neosporin or equal. Herpes simplex 1 a cold sore can occur in the nose but usually is below the nose is ulcerated and weepy and needs prescription meds if recurrent.
