Tooth infection?: Symptoms of any infection are those due to the body's attempts to fight the disease and this creates inflammation. That includes swelling, tenderness, pain, fever, redness, change in tissue so that it becomes hard to the touch. Sorry but do not know what a "sealed nerve" is.

Many: Pain, swelling, redness, warmness, limited opening of the jaw, tightness of the throat, fever, fatigue. Never heard of a sealed nerve but did you mean a root canal?
