Symptoms of abscess: There are often times that abscessed teeth are assymptomatic. However, swelling, pus, pain and sensitivity to hot or cold or pressure are indicators. If you have pain without a stimulus , it is a bad sign. Either way, it's time to see a dentist.

No: Impacted teeth are often asymptomatic. If leakage of oral fluids around impacted tooth, can be painful, infected, and dangerous. Please see your dentist and have area of concern evaluated. Ask dentist to refer you to orthodontist to rx the problem by bringing impacted tooth into occlusion.
