With good care.: Brushing your teeth and flossing daily are two staples of good oral hygeine. Another is good nutrition. A healthhy diet not only helps keep your teeth and gums clean, but it also keeps them well nourished so they are healthy enough to resist germs, etc. That may get in the mouth.

Floss, floss, floss!: In my office daily flossing is 93% of home care; toothbrushing is 6% and rinsing is at best 1%. Don't believe what you see on the commercials. (have you ever seen a commercial for floss? No! because there is no profit in selling it!).
