Part of sex: The mechanics of sexual activity (alone or with a partner) will bring both exposure to germs and trauma to a woman's pee hole. Some may get UTI's after sex & some do not. It is a risk of intercourse, masturbation & any other activity near the pee hole. A simple benefit to some is remembering to pee after sex to flush the outlet. Vaginal sex after anal is a special risk (e.coli among others).
