Ok if..: If you have diarrhea it is ok to take imodium (loperamide). However, try to figure out why you are having diarrhea. Make sure it is not infectious. Or not dumping syndrome. So while it is ok to take Imodium (loperamide) after bypass surgery, you should probably talk to your surgeon to rule out other causes for your diarrhea first..
